Coffee Co flavour catches on

Since the genesis of Eumundi Coffee Co early last year, the company continues to grow as plans for expansion proceed. The team, headed by award winning Coffee Roaster Thomas Rumble, are expanding their roastery from their small alleyway space through to a neighbouring shopfront on Memorial Drive, Eumundi.

The new space will  host to coffee events, a coffee training school and a coffee machine showroom.

“The new space will provide us a chance to share and showcase our passion for coffee through accessible and affordable coffee education programs, coffee tastings and even a brew your own coffee bar,” said Thomas.

A launch date is yet to be announced though he was hopeful the space will be open to the public from the end of November.

“Eumundi Coffee Co is all about education, connection and community”.

You can often find Thomas and Josh pouring coffees at community events as well as brewing filter coffee free of charge in the Nambour Square every Tuesday for Chay’s community group.

The dedicated team supplies cafes and restaurants stretching the Sunshine to the Gold Coast with their own locally roasted coffee beans. Thomas believes their hands-on approach to working with café owners and their baristas through free coffee training and support has been key to the company’s growth.

Thomas also in collaboration with a good friend Eduardo Walther of Straight Coffee have begun importing Brazilian coffees after travelling to coffee farms in Minas Gerais, Brazil last year. Their own direct trade coffees now make up Eumundi Coffee Co’s latest blend; ‘White Horse’. “We are focused on connecting our coffee partners with our coffee’s journey, specialty coffee is not just about a great tasting coffee as it is great people”.
